Konstas made 60 from 65 on Test debut, ramping and lapping and charging India’s attack. Usman Khawaja made 57, Marnus Labuschagne 72 and Steve Smith 68 not out but Travis Head and Mitch Marsh missed out, preventing Australia from making a monster score in front of a record crowd of 87,242 at the MCG. UPDATE: Kohli has been fined 20 per cent of his match fee and awarded one demerit point for his contact with Konstas, according to reports.
